| This is laser speckle, seen on a comma in the newspaper. This is 100x magnification with the video camera, something I'm still amazed I can do- and I can go to 200x if I want to. I illuminated the paper with a red laser hoping I could catch the speckling, something that happens when the coherent wavefront interferes with itself (or reinforces itself) when in reflects off a non-perfect surface.
