They are on the rebound in some areas, such as here, at Volcanoes National Park on the Big Island of Hawaii. Here is an offering to the god Pele that some locals left at the volcano Kilauea, being enjoyed by the birds. Things I would do differently: Nothing. Mods: Cropped, slightly sharpened.
