| Not to beat this theme to death, but if I mounted the polarizer to the camera, it was reversed compared to how it was in the previous shot, and had a dramatically different effect. Apparently circular polarizers, the kind common with autofocus cameras, are not symmetrical, i.e., they behave differently if you reverse them. I had no idea until I set up for this picture.
