feb25.jpg - I photographed this Ranunculus through a page-magnifying Fresnel lens. Basically the effect was soft focus and a bit blurrier background. I like the effect well enough. Part of this year-long project is to try out many different things to see what works and what doesn't, or what at least works sometimes. The Fresnel lens was held a few inches from the flower, and the camera a few inches from the lens, and taken in macro mode.

Things I would do differently: Nothing
Mods: Cropped, slight brightness & contrast
