| OK- one more day of wax paper texture- I'll have to move on and try some other things next (a different technique or at least a different texture). This shot was near downtown Dallas, an old building called S.L. Ewing Typewriters and Adding Machines. This was featured a few weeks ago below in 3D of the Week. I took my projection contraption downtown on an errand and got this fuzzy, almost looking-back-in-time photo. It has an interesting quality, but one of the problems with this technique with the magnifying glass is an extremely small visible picture area. I could not get the entire building in, so maybe I need to switch from the magnifying glass to a fresnel lens to get a fuller picture, which could extend the life of wax paper :) Things I would do differently: Play around with framing, if I had more time to do it (wife was waiting patiently in the car) Mods: Cropped, contrast | feb23 | |||||||||||
