| This is a piece of granite intended for a countertop. We are remodelling our kitchen, and while picking out our exact slab, I snapped a photo of this exotic granite. Ours is a bit more muted- or rather, totally different than this. However, this granite is nonetheless beautiful. It's black granite, with amethyst embedded all through it. They said it was due to a nearby meteor impact. Whatever the cause, it was the most unusual granite I've seen. As intriguing as the amethyst are the black flower-like petals surrounding some of them. Things I would do differently: Play around with the lighting, if I had the time. Mods: Cropped, brightness | feb19 | |||||||||||
