| This Herkimer Diamond has been in my rock collection since I was a kid and living next door to a rockhound. I just found out that they aren't really diamonds, but instead a form of quartz. This was taken on a light table (backlighted) and done in Macro mode on my Nikon Coolpix 8800, with no focus stacking.
