| Here is a ranunculus, a cool-weather flower I bought today for outdoor display. They are quite colorful. This is part of an 8-picture focus stack to get a good depth-of-field. I'm really happy with this shot. There is a slight artifact on the right edge of the petals. It was windy at times, and there was a little flutter I could not eliminate. The artifact is a function of slight differences between the images and the focus stacking software. Things I would do differently: Nothing (if I could have taken the photo with no wind, I would have, but it was late in the day, the light was fading, so I had little choice).
