| Today, since I had my planned field trip to Duke Power canceled, I had pretty much the whole day. I set off a little before lunch and drove up the the Blue Ridge Parkway. I had mostly overcase skies, though towards the end of the drive, it got sunny for a bit. This is Brinegar Cabin, named after the settler that built it. It's an exercise in the use of space and texture, placing the window in a corner and filling the space with a pattern or texture or color.
