Late afternoon heating by the sun after a break in the day's cloudiness must have caused this- updrafts from the suddenly-warmed ground hit the smooth underbelly of the cloud deck, with beautiful results.Things I would do differently: Nothing.Mods: None.

$One of my coffee cups has this very fractured bottom, which I attempted to isolate and photograph. There's a bit of a reflection here, so maybe in the future I can diffuse the light more- it's actually a difficult picture since the surface is shiny.Things I would do differently: Diffuse the light more:Mods: Desaturated (B&W), Dodging to darken the hot spot.$
