View, California in the Bay Area. This hangar is a landmark that NASA was conisdering tearing down due to the cost. Supposedly, Google worked out a deal with them to preserve it. This was the first stop and I was thrilled to have such a good view back on the city that I stayed for a while. I love the afterglow from sunset- the dark deep blue in the sky and the lights on the buildins balancing it out. This ice rink was set up for the winter on a public plaza. A 1/2s exposure was just enough to blur some skaters without ghosting them completely out, and a few stood still as well, giving a good anchor. Overall, I like the sense of motion here. The ceiling was already raised here and even textured, but I had to patch the sheetrock, cut new holes for these lights, cut and stain new crown molding for the interior, and trim it out with paint. I'm really happy with these warmer, modern, attractive halogen lights. Thins I would do differently: Nothing. Mods: White balance adjust. This is Cleo, our only surviving 'full time' cat. We also have Nadia, the outdoor 'part time' cat that adopted us. Nadia and Cleo absolutely do not get along- like matter and antimatter, so that is why Nadia is still 'part time.' Cleo's favorite place is this Kiwi pillow from New Zealand. It is soft and cuddly, and she spends a lot of time with it, which I find to be really cute. Things I would do differently: Get the hair off the couch. :) Mods: None. These 23 phones represent some 11 years at Nokia. Most are useless protos, some are phones I used to use. I'm currently using the QWERTY one third over form the end of the ring on the right, with the brown trim. That's the E61i. They are more or less in chronological order from the lower center left with the 2160, and go clockwise until you get to the E90 Communicator. There are tons more phones, but this is what I had in my 'museum.' Things I would do differently: Nothing. Mods: Sharpened.
